About Heidi Suikkanen:
Drawing has always played a significant role in my life. Curiosity, imagination and playfulness are the three main factors that keep me very much engaged with my pen and paper. I get my inspiration from ordinary
environments and objects such as machines and wash basins, round shapes or whatever detail in our beautiful world gets my attention. Sketchbook is my best friend where I draw my findings. I enjoy how the stroke of a black marker pen twists and turns on a white, smooth paper. Big and
small shapes, thin black lines, little details and shadows all together forming not just an image, but my happy place.
